Plankton is the latest addition to the Nickel City family! Through a joint effort of Nickel City and NASCO Properties, Plankton was purchased in August 2006. Its been crazy getting the place ship shape by spring for new members. The entire third floor was guttend and rebuilt. The porch roof was torn off and replaced. Piles and piles of junk and debris made their merry way to disposal. When the dust settled, a new coop had formed. As of May 2007, all 11 bedrooms are complete and ready for members.
Equipped with the latest in cooperative technology, Planktonites can relax on a quiet tree lined street with neighbors that own homes and care about the neighborhood. Plankton has a big backyard, three living rooms, and a 2nd floor balcony. There's room for a garden, a fire pit, and whatever else your cooperative imagination can dream. Members are wanted, so give a call or stop by.
